Triton Lumber sells the components necessary for the construction of a dock or a deck.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Your deck will require vertical support in the form of Pilings or Posts which will require Piling Wrap if used in salt water. (F) 

 

You will need to construct a frame around these supports consisting of Ledgers and Stringers and connect these using galvanized or stainless steel hangers, bolts or screws. (C, D, E)

 

Your choices for decking include pressure treated decking , composite decking or hardwood decking. (B)

 

Build a Rail around your deck using Pressure Treated Railing , Wire/Cable Railing or pre-fabricated Metal Railing. (A)

If you are constructing a Floating Dock you will also require Dock Floats.
